Benny Ferdman is an artist
and educator, whose work
incorporates Jewish history,
family history, and collective
memory. He uses found
materials, reinterpreting Jewish
symbols, images, and words in
an attempt to reclaim wonder
in Jewish life and culture.
Ferdman is the arts director at
New Community Jewish High
School in Los Angeles, as well
as co-director of Creative Ways,
where he develops, curates,
and creates exhibitions and
interactive curricula.
